October 22 Casablanca Morocco

Nothing got done today. I spent the day waiting for the apartment manager to show up to fix the wifi. She never did show and I got a message late in the afternoon that she would come by at 9 pm. Well she did, with her husband. It took them an hour but I now have wifi!


October 21 Casablanca Morocco

Started out slow, again this morning. Enjoying the relaxing coffees!
I headed out for the Mohamed V square, or at least in that direction. Along the way I stopped for coffee, I need wifi. Then I found a computer shop. The young girl spoke great English and was able to look at the wifi and make sure that my tablet was ok, it was just the router. I will have to wait and see what happens.

Walked a bit more and lunch time. Very nice little place, a chain I think for kebabs! Off for more walking towards the square. I ended up stopping in another coffee shop and spent too much time there. So I did not make it to the square, but what seemed like a long way was not really that far. I will go tomorrow. On the return trip I saw the ocean again. I had not seen that on the way out. Stopped and got some more bread and also a pomegranate. They must be in season, they are everywhere!

I had watched the street sellers peel the pomegranate and did not look that hard. Well not that difficult but I did not realize that the seed that you eat are basically loose inside. There were all over the place! But still tasted pretty good.
Out for dinner at a pizza place and then back and watching movies.
